As a therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Practitioner of Sound Healing therapy, I fuse both Eastern and Western modalities of healing in my work with clients, holistically integrating mind, body, and soul into the healing process.

I approach therapy from a somatic attachment-based lens. This means that if we choose to work together, I will place great value on establishing and maintaining a strong, trusting, and safe therapeutic relationship with you. A strong therapeutic relationship alone provides a new model for healthy connection and offers a safe space to learn and practice positive ways of relating, allowing you to feel seen and understood. In sessions we will spend time exploring the role of connection in your current struggles. We also consider your experience with relationships from childhood to the present. We will integrate things such as yoga, breathwork, and various body based techniques to help you strengthen your ability to become curious about your internal experience. Somatic Attachment Therapy will provide you with the tools to turn inward, accessing the wisdom of the body, nervous system, and inner knowing. In other words, if we decide to work together, we will discover ways to help you manage the noise of the mind, re-connect with the body in a way that feels safe, and re-discover who you truly are so that you can lead a life of meaning and purpose.

I remain dedicated to providing the most cutting edge treatment for clients who are healing from trauma. I'm fully trained in S.A.F.E. EMDR. S.A.F.E. EMDR stands for Somatic and Attachment Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. This is a body-mind integrated therapy which is evidenced based and proven to be highly effective for those who have symptoms of trauma. I am currently in a 3 year training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
